Guest Teachers at HBPA
We’ve already been graced by the talents of two guest teachers this year, founder Melissa French and Mallory McVey. Our students love learning new skills from qualified instructors!
Collaboration with HMA
We were excited to once again collaborate with our friends at the Hickory Museum of Art for their Art of Adventure event. HBPA students, parents, and staff enjoyed the night of entertaining others with classical variations from around the world and being entertained by the stories of Jeff Cline’s adventures.
Ribbon Cutting to Celebrate Our Non-Profit Status
On August 14th, the Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate our new 501(c)3 status. We were so grateful for this chance to talk about our mission and hopes for the future, as well as successes of this past year.
Fresh Performance at the Farmer’s Market
HBPA spent Saturday morning, August 17th at the Farmer’s Market! We talked about fall classes and students demonstrated some of their work. We love our studio and telling others about it!
Patriotic at the Old Soldiers Reunion Parade!
HBPA students fought the heat to dance through the Old Soldiers Reunion Parade in Newton on August 15th.
